Leslie is a seasoned senior healthcare leader with more than 30 years of experience advancing high-quality care and strengthening organizational performance across the healthcare sector. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of New England and a Master of Science in Business from Husson University.

As a former hospital chief operating officer, Leslie brings extensive expertise in developing collaborative management practices that enhance patient care, elevate customer service, streamline operational processes, and support the recruitment and retention of highly skilled clinical and non-clinical staff. Her leadership portfolio includes oversight of hospital ancillary and support services, as well as senior-level responsibility for capital acquisition projects and major construction initiatives.

Leslie’s governance experience includes serving as Chair of the Maine Board of Examiners in Physical Therapy and representing Maine as a Delegate to the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy, roles through which she contributes to statewide regulatory oversight and national policy discussions shaping the profession.

In 2023, Leslie founded Leslie KR Anderson, LLC, where she serves as an independent healthcare consultant, grant writer, and grant program advisor for hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), municipalities, social service organizations, and public service agencies throughout New England. She also contributes to workforce and organizational development by teaching grant writing and healthcare information technology through the University of Maine at Presque Isle’s YourPace Program.

Leslie resides in Falmouth, Maine with her husband, Shawn.
